Description
CM2507 IP cameras automatically execute a predetermined script from removable media without verifying its authenticity or integrity. An attacker with physical access to the device could supply a malicious script and execute arbitrary code in the security context of the affected device.
A vulnerability in CareCam CM2507 IP cameras allows for arbitrary code execution by automatically running a predetermined script from removable media. This execution occurs without verifying the script's authenticity or integrity. An attacker with physical access to the camera could exploit this flaw by supplying a malicious script, which would then be executed in the context of the affected device.
