Description
The My Email Shortcode plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the 'subject' shortcode attribute in the 'my-email' shortcode in all versions up to, and including, 0.91 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Contributor-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page.
A stored cross-site scripting vulnerability has been identified in the My Email Shortcode plugin for WordPress, affecting all versions through 0.91. The issue arises from inadequate input sanitization and output escaping, allowing authenticated attackers with Contributor-level access or higher to inject arbitrary web scripts into pages. These scripts are executed when a user accesses the compromised page.
There is no known patch available for this vulnerability. Users are advised to review the vulnerability details and consider uninstalling the affected plugin.
