Description
An attacker may achieve arbitrary code execution on a target system by uploading a malicious device driver package, bypassing driver verification mechanisms, and triggering the execution of attacker-controlled code. User interaction is required.
A vulnerability exists in the Device Manager extension of SICK Sentio Creator, specifically in versions through 2026.2. This vulnerability allows an attacker to execute arbitrary code by uploading a malicious device driver package that bypasses driver verification mechanisms. The execution of the attacker-controlled code requires user interaction.
Users are strongly recommended to upgrade the Device Manager extension for SICK Sentio Creator to version 1.4.1.
