Description
The Ninja Forms WordPress plugin from 3.14.10 before 3.15.2 does not prevent shortcodes in request-derived values from being executed when it substitutes them into content it later processes for shortcodes, allowing unauthenticated users to run any shortcode registered on the site.
A vulnerability in the Ninja Forms WordPress plugin, affecting versions 3.14.10 prior to 3.15.2, allows unauthenticated users to execute any registered shortcode on the site. This issue arises because the plugin does not properly sanitize shortcodes in request-derived values before processing them, particularly in form actions and default values. Exploitation can be achieved by injecting shortcodes through these merge tags, which the plugin later renders as part of the content.
Users are advised to update the Ninja Forms WordPress plugin to version 3.15.2 or later.
