Description
Authorization bypass through user-controlled key issue exists in ShizenBox2 (edge-app). If exploited, an attacker who can log in to the product may change the other user's password.
A vulnerability allowing authorization bypass through user-controlled keys has been identified in ShizenBox2 (edge-app) versions through 3.1.15. This vulnerability arises from improper access control in the password reset or change functionality. Exploitation allows authenticated low-privilege users to change the passwords of other users, including administrators.
Users are advised to update to ShizenBox2 edge-app version 3.1.16 or later.
