Description
The User Registration & Membership WordPress plugin before 5.2.8 does not validate the destination of a post-login redirect before redirecting, allowing unauthenticated attackers to redirect visitors to an arbitrary external URL, which can be abused for phishing.
A vulnerability exists in the User Registration & Membership WordPress plugin in versions prior to 5.2.8. The plugin fails to properly validate the destination of post-login redirects, allowing unauthenticated attackers to redirect users to arbitrary external URLs. This flaw can be exploited for phishing attacks.
Users are advised to update the User Registration & Membership WordPress plugin to version 5.2.8 or later.
