Description
Insufficient validation of untrusted input in Payments in Google Chrome on Android prior to 148.0.7778.96 allowed a remote attacker who had compromised the renderer process to spoof the contents of the Omnibox (URL bar) via a crafted HTML page. (Chromium security severity: Medium)
A vulnerability in the Payments feature of Google Chrome on Android, in versions prior to 148.0.7778.96, allowed remote attackers to spoof the Omnibox contents. This was possible due to insufficient validation of untrusted input, which could be exploited through a crafted HTML page, compromising the renderer process.
Users can update to Google Chrome version 148.0.7778.96 or later to address this vulnerability.
