Description
Use after free in Views in Google Chrome prior to 148.0.7778.96 allowed an attacker who convinced a user to install a malicious extension to execute arbitrary code via a crafted Chrome Extension. (Chromium security severity: Medium)
A use-after-free vulnerability has been identified in the Views component of Google Chrome, affecting versions prior to 148.0.7778.96. This vulnerability allows an attacker to execute arbitrary code by convincing a user to install a malicious extension.
Users can update to Google Chrome version 148.0.7778.96 or later to address this vulnerability.
