Description
Race in Chromoting in Google Chrome on Windows prior to 148.0.7778.96 allowed a local attacker to perform privilege escalation via a malicious file. (Chromium security severity: Medium)
A race condition vulnerability has been identified in the Chromoting feature of Google Chrome on Windows, in versions prior to 148.0.7778.96. This vulnerability allows a local attacker to perform privilege escalation by exploiting a malicious file.
Users can update to Google Chrome version 148.0.7778.96 or later to address this vulnerability.
