Description
An issue in Webkul Bagisto 2.4.9 allows a remote attacker to obtain sensitive information via the add-to-cart API and the downloadable fulfilment components.
A vulnerability in Webkul Bagisto versions 2.4.9 and 2.4.10 allows remote attackers to exploit the add-to-cart API for downloadable products. The issue arises because the API does not validate the identifiers of downloadable links, enabling attackers to obtain files from other products without authorization. This flaw is rooted in an authorization bypass, where the system fails to ensure that the requested links belong to the purchased product. As a result, attackers can manipulate the cart to receive high-value items for the price of cheaper ones.
Webkul Bagisto users should audit their 'downloadable_link_purchased' records for any links that do not correspond to products in the related orders. Once a patch is released, it should be applied promptly.
