Description
Insufficient data validation in InterestGroups in Google Chrome prior to 148.0.7778.96 allowed a remote attacker who had compromised the renderer process to potentially perform a sandbox escape via a crafted HTML page. (Chromium security severity: High)
A vulnerability allowing a remote attacker to potentially escape the sandbox in Google Chrome has been identified. This issue arises from insufficient data validation in the InterestGroups feature, prior to version 148.0.7778.96. The vulnerability could be exploited by a compromised renderer process through a crafted HTML page.
Users can update to Google Chrome version 148.0.7778.96 or later to address this vulnerability.
