Description
IBM Langflow OSS 1.0.0 through 1.10.0 allows an authenticated attacker to read arbitrary files including the JWT signing key and forge authentication tokens for any user.
A path traversal vulnerability has been identified in IBM Langflow OSS versions 1.0.0 through 1.10.0. This vulnerability allows authenticated attackers to read arbitrary files, including the JWT signing key, which can be used to forge authentication tokens for any user. The issue arises from the File component's tar archive extraction process, where symbolic links in uploaded archives can be exploited to access sensitive files on the server.
Users are advised to upgrade IBM Langflow OSS to version 1.10.1. Instructions for downloading this version are available on the Langflow OSS page on PyPI.
