Description
The Themify – WooCommerce Product Filter plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Reflected Cross-Site Scripting via Query Parameter Name in all versions up to, and including, 1.5.5 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that execute if they can successfully trick a user into performing an action such as clicking on a link.
A reflected cross-site scripting vulnerability has been identified in the Themify – WooCommerce Product Filter plugin for WordPress, affecting all versions through 1.5.5. The vulnerability arises from inadequate input sanitization and output escaping, allowing unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts. These scripts could be executed if the attacker successfully persuades a user to perform a specific action, such as clicking a link.
Users are advised to update the Themify – WooCommerce Product Filter plugin to version 1.5.6 or later, where this vulnerability has been patched.
