Description
After spoofing the device and obtaining one user confirmation, an attacker may be able to cause the application to transmit firmware through an unauthenticated and unsigned update channel.
A vulnerability exists in the Softish C6 Ear Camera and the EarVision Android application, both version 1.3.1, that allows an attacker to exploit the absence of authentication for critical functions. By spoofing the device and obtaining a single user confirmation, an attacker could potentially cause the application to send firmware through an unauthenticated and unsigned update channel. This exploitation could lead to the installation of unauthorized firmware on the device.
