Description
IBM Db2 11.5.0 through 11.5.9, and 12.1.0 through 12.1.4 is vulnerable to a trap when compiling a specially crafted statements containing subqueries could lead to a denial of service.
A denial-of-service vulnerability has been identified in IBM Db2 versions 11.5.0 through 11.5.9 and 12.1.0 through 12.1.4. The issue arises when the database engine compiles specially crafted statements containing subqueries, leading to a trap that can cause a denial-of-service condition.
Users can download a special build containing the interim fix for this issue from IBM Fix Central. For Db2 version 11.5, the special build #87098 or later is available. For Db2 version 12.1, the special build #87349 or later can be obtained. These builds can be applied to any affected level of the respective release.
