Description
A vulnerability was detected in CodeAstro Online Classroom 1.0. Impacted is an unknown function of the file /OnlineClassroom/studentlogin. Performing a manipulation of the argument sid results in sql injection. Remote exploitation of the attack is possible. The exploit is now public and may be used.
A SQL injection vulnerability has been identified in CodeAstro Online Classroom version 1.0. The issue resides in the '/OnlineClassroom/studentlogin' file, where the 'sid' parameter is manipulated to inject malicious SQL queries. This vulnerability allows remote exploitation, enabling attackers to gain unauthorized access to the database, manipulate or delete data, and access sensitive information.
To address this vulnerability, it is recommended to use prepared statements and parameter binding to prevent SQL injection, validate and filter user input, minimize database user permissions, and conduct regular security audits.
