Description
The Deck config API allows authenticated users to set board-scoped configuration keys for arbitrary board IDs without validating whether the user owns or has permission to manage the referenced board.
A vulnerability in the Nextcloud Deck application allows authenticated users to inject board-specific configuration values into arbitrary boards, including those owned by other users. This issue arises because the Deck config API does not validate whether the user has permission to modify the specified board before applying the changes.
This vulnerability has been addressed in the latest maintenance releases of Nextcloud Deck.
