Description
IBM Langflow OSS 1.0.0 through 1.9.6 could allow unauthenticated attackers to access protected MCP project resources and execute MCP operations due to improper authorization enforcement in the Streamable MCP transport endpoint.
A vulnerability in IBM Langflow OSS versions 1.0.0 through 1.9.6 allows unauthenticated attackers to access protected Model Context Protocol (MCP) project resources and execute MCP operations. This issue arises from improper authorization enforcement in the Streamable MCP transport endpoint, which could enable attackers to bypass project ownership controls and interact with OAuth-authenticated projects owned by other users. Exploitation of this vulnerability could lead to unauthorized access to private MCP tool metadata, confidential project files, flow definitions, user-level files uploaded by the superuser, and the ability to execute MCP tools anonymously with superuser privileges.
Users are advised to upgrade IBM Langflow OSS to version 1.10.0.
