Description
The WP Import Export Lite WordPress plugin before 3.9.33 does not properly sanitise and escape some import configuration values before using them in SQL statements, allowing users whose role an administrator has granted the WP Import Export Lite WordPress plugin before 3.9.33's import permission to perform SQL injection attacks.
A SQL injection vulnerability has been identified in the WP Import Export Lite WordPress plugin, affecting versions prior to 3.9.33. The issue arises because the plugin fails to properly sanitize and escape certain import configuration values before incorporating them into SQL statements. This flaw allows users with the import permission, granted by an administrator, to execute SQL injection attacks.
Users are advised to update the WP Import Export Lite WordPress plugin to version 3.9.33 or later.
