Description
The SureCart WordPress plugin before 4.7.0 does not consult the site's user registration setting before creating WordPress accounts, allowing unauthenticated users to create an account and receive a logged-in session even when registration is disabled.
A vulnerability exists in the SureCart WordPress plugin in versions prior to 4.7.0, allowing unauthenticated users to create WordPress accounts and receive a logged-in session, bypassing the site's user registration settings. This issue arises because the plugin does not check whether user registration is enabled before account creation, leaving sites with registration disabled vulnerable to unauthorized account creation.
Users are advised to update the SureCart WordPress plugin to version 4.7.0 or later.
