CVE-2026-7552 Details
Description
The Geo Mashup plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to authorization bypass in all versions up to, and including, 1.13.19. This is due to the plugin not properly verifying that a user is authorized to perform an action. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to expose sensitive plugin configuration data, including Google Maps API keys and GeoNames service credentials, to unauthenticated attackers.
A vulnerability exists in the Geo Mashup plugin for WordPress, affecting all versions up to and including 1.13.19. The issue stems from the plugin's failure to properly authenticate user actions, allowing unauthenticated users to access and disclose sensitive configuration information. This includes exposure of Google Maps API keys and GeoNames service credentials, through the 'geo_mashup_content' parameter.
Users are advised to update the Geo Mashup plugin to version 1.13.20 or later.
