Description
The MultiVendorX WordPress plugin before 5.0.16 does not verify that a user owns the store they are acting on in one of its REST API routes, allowing any authenticated user, such as a subscriber, to overwrite any store's details and payout settings and to replace the record of who owns it.
A vulnerability exists in the MultiVendorX WordPress plugin in versions prior to 5.0.16. The issue arises because the plugin's REST API routes do not properly verify store ownership. This flaw enables any authenticated user, including subscribers, to overwrite store details, payout settings, and ownership records.
Users are advised to update the MultiVendorX WordPress plugin to version 5.0.16 or later.
