Description
A vulnerability was found in SourceCodester Pharmacy Sales and Inventory System 1.0. Affected is an unknown function of the file /index.php?page=product. Performing a manipulation of the argument ID results in cross site scripting. It is possible to initiate the attack remotely. The exploit has been made public and could be used.
A cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability has been identified in SourceCodester Pharmacy Sales and Inventory System version 1.0. The issue resides in the file '/index.php?page=product', where the 'id' parameter is not properly validated or encoded before being output to users. This flaw allows attackers to inject malicious scripts that are executed in the context of the user's browser, potentially leading to the theft of cookies, session tokens, or other sensitive information. The vulnerability can be exploited remotely without requiring any authentication.
