Description
A vulnerability was detected in SourceCodester Pharmacy Sales and Inventory System 1.0. Impacted is an unknown function of the file /index.php?page=categories. Performing a manipulation of the argument ID results in cross site scripting. The attack is possible to be carried out remotely. The exploit is now public and may be used.
A cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability has been identified in SourceCodester Pharmacy Sales and Inventory System version 1.0. The issue resides in the file '/index.php?page=categories', where the 'id' parameter is not properly validated or encoded before being output to users. This flaw allows attackers to inject and execute malicious scripts in the context of the user's browser, potentially leading to the theft of cookies, session tokens, or other sensitive information.
