CVE-2026-70443 Details
Description
Jenkins Horreum Plugin 0.16.162.v33b_4a_a_b_5f828 and earlier does not set the appropriate context for credentials lookup, allowing attackers with Item/Configure permission to have Jenkins send credentials they are not entitled to use to the administrator-configured Horreum URL.
A vulnerability exists in the Horreum Plugin for Jenkins, specifically in versions through 0.16.162.v33b_4a_a_b_5f828. The issue arises because the plugin does not properly manage the context for credential lookups. This flaw allows attackers with Item/Configure permission to access credentials they are not authorized to use and have them sent to an administrator-configured Horreum URL.
Users of the Horreum Plugin should update to version 1.8.4, which includes the necessary fix. For those unable to update, a workaround is available on the Jenkins Vulnerability Repository.
