Description
Jenkins Summary Display Plugin 1.15 and earlier does not escape the job name in a JavaScript context in build report pages, resulting in a stored cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability exploitable by attackers with Item/Create or Item/Configure permission.
A stored cross-site scripting vulnerability has been identified in the Jenkins Summary Display Plugin, versions through 1.15. The issue arises because the plugin fails to properly escape job names in a JavaScript context on build report pages. This vulnerability is exploitable by users with Item/Create or Item/Configure permissions.
Users of the Jenkins Summary Display Plugin should update to version 1.16 or later, where this vulnerability has been fixed.
