Description
Jenkins Qualys Container Scanning Connector Plugin 1.8.0.5 and earlier does not escape user-controlled field values in a JavaScript context, resulting in a stored cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability exploitable by attackers with Item/Configure permission.
A stored cross-site scripting vulnerability has been identified in the Jenkins Qualys Container Scanning Connector Plugin, version 1.8.0.5 and earlier. The vulnerability arises because the plugin does not properly escape user-controlled field values in a JavaScript context. This issue is exploitable by attackers who have Item/Configure permission.
Users of the Jenkins Qualys Container Scanning Connector Plugin should update to a version later than 1.8.0.5. As of the publication of this advisory, no fix is available for this vulnerability.
