Description
A post-authentication command injection vulnerability in the "LogServer" field of the syslog component in Zyxel AX7501-B1 firmware versions through 5.17(ABPC.7.2)C0 could allow an authenticated attacker with administrator privileges to execute OS commands on an affected device.
A post-authentication command injection vulnerability has been identified in the 'LogServer' field of the syslog component on Zyxel AX7501-B1 devices running firmware versions through 5.17(ABPC.7.2)C0. This vulnerability allows an authenticated attacker with administrator privileges to execute operating system commands on the affected device. By default, WAN access is disabled, and exploitation would require knowledge of user-configured passwords.
Users are advised to update to version 5.17(ABPC.8)C0, which is available through the Zyxel Community or by contacting local Zyxel support.
