Description
The Ona theme for WordPress is vulnerable to Server-Side Request Forgery in all versions up to, and including, 1.26 via the ona_activate_child_theme. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with administrator-level access and above, to make web requests to arbitrary locations originating from the web application and can be used to query and modify information from internal services.
A server-side request forgery (SSRF) vulnerability has been identified in the Ona theme for WordPress, affecting all versions through 1.26. The vulnerability arises in the 'ona_activate_child_theme' function, allowing authenticated attackers with administrator-level access to make web requests to arbitrary locations. This could be exploited to query and modify information from internal services.
Users are advised to update the Ona WordPress theme to version 1.27 or a newer patched version.
