Description
It was not possible to govern the maximum number of transfer frames per incoming delivery, enabling an authenticated attacker to cause excessive resource usage and potential denial of service. This issue affects Apache Qpid Proton-J: through 0.34.1. Users are recommended to upgrade to version 0.35.0, which fixes the issue.
A denial-of-service vulnerability has been identified in Apache Qpid Proton-J versions through 0.34.1. The issue arises because the maximum number of transfer frames per incoming delivery could not be properly regulated. This flaw enables an authenticated attacker to exploit the resource management, potentially leading to excessive resource consumption and service disruption.
Users are advised to upgrade to Apache Qpid Proton-J version 0.35.0 or later, which addresses this vulnerability.
