A path validation weakness in archive extraction/write handling allows entries with traversal sequences to be written outside the intended build artifacts location.
A path validation vulnerability has been identified in JFrog Artifactory's archive extraction and writing process. This weakness allows entries with traversal sequences to be written outside the designated build artifacts directory. The issue affects JFrog Artifactory self-managed releases.
