Description
Joomla Extension - joomshaper.com - Authenticated arbitrary file delete in SP Page Builder < 6.7.1- Improper path validation and ACL checks lead to a file deletion vector in the media manager.
An authenticated arbitrary file deletion vulnerability has been identified in the SP Page Builder extension for Joomla, specifically in versions prior to 6.7.1. The issue arises from improper path validation and access control, allowing low-privilege users to delete files at specified paths without adequate safeguards. This could enable the deletion of critical files such as 'configuration.php' or protective '.htaccess' files, potentially disrupting the site's functionality or security.
Users are advised to update SP Page Builder to version 6.7.1 or later, and to clear any caches after updating.
