Description
Joomla Extension - joomshaper.com - cross-customer order and personal information disclosure in Easy Store extension 1.0.0-2.0.1 - Improper access checks allow logged in users to retreive order and customer information of any order in the system.
A vulnerability in the JoomShaper Easy Store extension for Joomla, versions 1.0.0 prior to 2.0.1, allows logged-in users to access and retrieve personal information and order details of any customer by simply altering the order ID in the URL. This issue arises from inadequate access controls that fail to verify if the order belongs to the user requesting the information. As a result, any logged-in customer can view sensitive data such as full names, email addresses, shipping and billing details, phone numbers, and complete purchase histories.
Users are advised to update to JoomShaper Easy Store version 2.0.2, which includes the necessary access control fixes. After updating, verify that the extension version is 2.0.2 or later.
