Description
Administrator Arbitrary File Upload in MapSVG <= 8.14.0 versions.
A vulnerability allowing arbitrary file upload has been identified in the WordPress MapSVG plugin, specifically in versions through 8.14.0. This issue arises from inadequate file upload validation, enabling administrators to upload potentially malicious files, such as backdoors, which could be executed to gain unauthorized access to the website.
Users of the WordPress MapSVG plugin should update to version 8.14.1 or later. Patchstack users can enable auto-update for vulnerable plugins.
