Description
ANDRITZ HIPASE-250 (formerly 250 SCALA), in the default configuration of affected versions, exposes its data and configuration endpoint without any authentication and permissive CORS on every response. An unauthenticated attacker with network access can read live process values and server configuration.
A vulnerability in the ANDRITZ HIPASE-250 (formerly 250 SCALA) process automation software allows for unauthenticated access to live process data and server configuration. This issue arises in the default configuration of affected versions, where the data and configuration endpoint is exposed without authentication and with permissive Cross-Origin Resource Sharing (CORS) on every response. As a result, an unauthenticated attacker with network access can read sensitive process values and server settings.
