Description
In JetBrains IntelliJ IDEA before 2026.2 arbitrary code execution was possible before granting project trust via development container configuration
A vulnerability in JetBrains IntelliJ IDEA prior to version 2026.2 allows arbitrary code execution before project trust is established, specifically through development container configuration. This issue could be exploited by manipulating the container settings of an untrusted project, leading to unauthorized code execution on the user's machine.
Users can update to JetBrains IntelliJ IDEA version 2026.2 or later to address this vulnerability.
