Description
This issue was addressed with additional restrictions on the lock screen. This issue is fixed in macOS Sequoia 15.7.8, macOS Tahoe 26.6. A person with physical access to a locked device may be able to access contacts and photos.
A vulnerability exists in the lock screen of Apple macOS Sequoia and macOS Tahoe. This issue allows a person with physical access to a locked device to access contacts and photos. The vulnerability arises from insufficient restrictions on the lock screen, which can be exploited to bypass privacy controls and access sensitive user data.
This vulnerability has been fixed in macOS Sequoia 15.7.8 and macOS Tahoe 26.6.
