Description
A type confusion issue was addressed with improved memory handling. This issue is fixed in macOS Sequoia 15.7.8, macOS Sonoma 14.8.8, macOS Tahoe 26.6. An app may be able to cause unexpected system termination.
A type confusion vulnerability has been identified in the SMB component of Apple macOS Sequoia 15.7.8, macOS Sonoma 14.8.8, and macOS Tahoe 26.6. This vulnerability allows an application to cause unexpected system termination. The issue arises from improper memory handling, which has been addressed in the latest macOS updates.
