Description
An integer overflow was addressed with improved input validation. This issue is fixed in macOS Sequoia 15.7.8, macOS Sonoma 14.8.8, macOS Tahoe 26.6. An app may be able to cause unexpected system termination.
An integer overflow vulnerability has been identified in the handling of disk images in macOS. This issue, present in macOS Sequoia 15.7.8, macOS Sonoma 14.8.8, and macOS Tahoe 26.6, was addressed with improved input validation. However, the vulnerability could still be exploited, leading to unexpected application termination or arbitrary code execution.
Users can update to macOS Sequoia 15.7.8, macOS Sonoma 14.8.8, or macOS Tahoe 26.6 to address this vulnerability.
