Description
The Geo Mashup plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to time-based blind SQL Injection via the 'geo_mashup_null_fields' parameter in all versions up to, and including, 1.13.19 due to insufficient escaping on the user supplied parameter and lack of sufficient preparation on the existing SQL query. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with subscriber-level access and above, to append additional SQL queries into already existing queries that can be used to extract sensitive information from the database.
A time-based blind SQL injection vulnerability has been identified in the Geo Mashup plugin for WordPress, affecting all versions up to and including 1.13.19. The vulnerability arises from inadequate escaping of user-supplied data in the 'geo_mashup_null_fields' parameter, coupled with a lack of proper preparation in the SQL query. This flaw enables authenticated attackers with subscriber-level access or higher to inject additional SQL commands into existing queries, potentially leading to the extraction of sensitive information from the database.
Users are advised to update the Geo Mashup WordPress plugin to version 1.13.20 or later, where this vulnerability has been addressed.
