This ensures the l2cap_conn remains alive as long as the channel exists. A new FLAG_DEL channel flag is introduced to indicate that the ch ---truncated---
A use-after-free vulnerability has been identified in the Bluetooth L2CAP implementation of the Linux kernel. This issue arises because the function 'l2cap_chan_timeout()' operates asynchronously and accesses the channel's connection reference. If the connection is terminated while the timeout timer is active or pending, the connection reference can be freed. This leads to a use-after-free condition when the timer worker tries to lock the connection's mutex, potentially allowing for arbitrary memory access and manipulation.
The vulnerability has been fixed in the Linux kernel. Users should upgrade to the latest version of the stable Linux kernel where this issue has been addressed.
