Description
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: nvme: fix bio leak on mapping failure The local bio is always NULL, so we'd leak the bio if the integrity mapping failed. Just get it directly from the request.
A vulnerability in the Linux kernel's NVMe driver could lead to a bio leak during mapping failures. This issue arises because the local bio variable is always NULL, causing a leak if the integrity mapping fails. The vulnerability has been addressed by modifying the code to retrieve the bio directly from the request.
Users can apply the latest patches available in the Linux kernel stable tree to address this vulnerability.
