Description
Missing Authorization (CWE-862) in Kibana can lead to unauthorized cross-space information disclosure via user-supplied input that circumvents space-level access control.
A vulnerability in Elastic Kibana versions 9.4.0 through 9.4.3 allows for unauthorized cross-space information disclosure. This issue arises from user-supplied input that bypasses space-level access control, particularly in deployments with Service Level Objectives (SLO) features enabled in multi-space environments. Any authenticated user with the 'slo_read' privilege in at least one Kibana Space may exploit this vulnerability.
Users can upgrade to Kibana version 9.4.4 to address this vulnerability. For those unable to upgrade, no workarounds are available.
