CVE-2026-6325 Details
Description
Out-of-bounds write in SetSuitesHashSigAlgo when processing an oversized signature algorithms list, allowing a write past the bounds of the destination buffer.
A heap-based buffer overflow vulnerability has been identified in the wolfSSL library, specifically in the SetSuitesHashSigAlgo function. This vulnerability arises when the function processes an oversized list of signature algorithms, leading to a write operation that exceeds the limits of the designated buffer. The issue is present in multiple versions of wolfSSL, including those prior to 5.9.1.
Users are advised to update to wolfSSL version 5.9.1 or later, where this vulnerability has been fixed.
