Description
A hard-coded AWS IAM credentials vulnerability in Koollab LMS allowed an attacker to access shared multi-tenant S3 buckets and SQS queues, exposing sensitive data and enabling malicious content injection, job manipulation, or email interception.
A vulnerability in Koollab Learning Management System (LMS) version 5.3.2 involves hard-coded AWS IAM credentials, which allowed attackers to access shared multi-tenant S3 buckets and SQS queues. This access could lead to the exposure of sensitive data, injection of malicious content, manipulation of jobs, or interception of emails.
Three Learning, the product owner, has patched this vulnerability across all cloud-hosted instances of Koollab LMS. No manual action is required from users or administrators.
