Description
An authentication bypass vulnerability in Koollab LMS allowed an unauthenticated attacker to take over any account, including administrator accounts, by supplying a valid user UUID without providing primary credentials via the 2FA validation endpoint.
An authentication bypass vulnerability has been identified in Koollab Learning Management System (LMS) version 5.3.2. This vulnerability allows an unauthenticated attacker to take over any account, including those of administrators, by supplying a valid user UUID through the 2FA validation endpoint, without providing primary credentials.
Three Learning, the product owner, has patched this vulnerability across all cloud-hosted instances of Koollab LMS. No manual action is required from users or administrators.
