Description
A pre-authentication blind SQL injection vulnerability in Koollab LMS allowed an unauthenticated attacker to use a time-based SQL oracle via the SSO OAuth endpoint to read sensitive database contents, including personally identifiable information, credentials, and valid JWT tokens that may enable account takeover.
A pre-authentication blind SQL injection vulnerability has been identified in Koollab Learning Management System (LMS) version 5.3.2. This vulnerability allows an unauthenticated attacker to exploit the SSO OAuth endpoint using a time-based SQL injection technique. The exploitation can lead to unauthorized access to sensitive database information, including personally identifiable information, user credentials, and valid JWT tokens, which could facilitate account takeover.
Three Learning, the product owner, has patched this vulnerability. As Koollab LMS is a cloud-hosted Software-as-a-Service application, no manual update is required from users or administrators.
