Description
WordPress 6.9.x before 6.9.5 and 7.0.x before 7.0.2 is affected by a REST API batch endpoint route confusion issue which, combined with the author__not_in WP_Query SQL Injection (CVE-2026-60137), could allow an attacker to perform SQL Injection and achieve Remote Code Execution.
A vulnerability exists in WordPress versions 6.9.0 prior to 6.9.5 and 7.0.0 prior to 7.0.2, due to a REST API batch endpoint route confusion. This issue, when combined with an SQL injection vulnerability in WP_Query's author__not_in parameter, could allow an attacker to execute arbitrary code remotely.
Users are advised to update to WordPress versions 6.9.5, 7.0.2, or 7.1 beta2, all of which include patches for this vulnerability.
