Description
In Roundcube Webmail before 1.6.17 and 1.7.x before 1.7.2, the password plugin of the Roundcube Webmail was subject to username spoofing via session data, which could lead to account takeover.
A vulnerability exists in the password plugin of Roundcube Webmail versions prior to 1.6.17 and 1.7.x prior to 1.7.2. This vulnerability allows for username spoofing through session data, which could result in account takeover.
Users can update to Roundcube Webmail versions 1.6.17 or 1.7.2, both of which include the necessary fix. Instructions for downloading these versions are available on the Roundcube website.
