Description
Argo CD Helm Chart before 10.0.0 fails to install network policies by default, allowing any pod on a cluster to access repo-server and other Argo APIs. Attackers can exploit this unrestricted network access through combined attacks to achieve cluster compromise and remote code execution.
A vulnerability exists in the Argo CD Helm Chart in versions prior to 10.0.0, where network policies are not installed by default. This oversight allows any pod in the cluster to access the repo-server and other Argo APIs. Attackers could exploit this unrestricted network access, potentially leading to a compromise of the cluster and remote code execution.
Users can upgrade to Argo CD Helm Chart version 10.0.0 or later, where this issue is addressed. If using an earlier version, network policies can be manually added to restrict access to the Argo APIs.
